Google has put forth a list of what they feel were the top 12 Android apps of 2012. Google Maps Returns to iOS
After a months-long absence prompted by Apple updating their mobile operating system to iOS 6 – Google Maps is back! The official Google Maps app returned to Apple’s App store yesterday as a standalone app. The new app is free and includes turn-by-turn navigation (something lacking in the last manifestation of Google Maps on the iOS platform), an integrated street view, an a 3-D like Google Earth view.
